Wow! Well done one of our talented Year 6 students. The children’s homework over half term was to put together a presentation on British Values. I received this (via our fabulous secretary) before we have even resumed our timetable for the week.
This week in our topic lessons we will be learning about Stonehenge and the history of this amazing stone age monument. Here are some great links to find out more about the Bronze age and Stonehenge itself.

Here are some more amazing examples of creatively presented homework by Class Jacob. I think you’ll agree that the children have worked incredibly hard to produce some fantastic results. From models made of bits of garden path, animal bones, moss and clay to intricately constructed ‘rainbow lollipop-stick information holders’, they really have embraced the challenge wholeheartedly.
Well, what a fantastic response to Class Jacob’s homework this week. The brief was to research and present information about the Stone Age settlement of Skara Brae in the Orkney islands. The only stipulation was to be as creative as possible. Please find attached below two powerpoints made by the children.
